Where to Party in Miami

pool floats miami

Party in the city where the heat is on

All night, on the beach till the break of dawn

Welcome to Miami

Buenvenidos a Miami

Bouncin in the club where the heat is on

All night, on the beach till the break of dawn

I'm goin to Miami

Welcome to Miami

We hope you recognize those lyrics. If you don’t, they are from this guy named Will Smith – and his song ‘Miami’, which was released in 1998 and made its way into the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100.

Napa Valley and wine.

Wisconsin and cheese.

New York and bagels.

Chicago and pizza.

Vegas and gambling.

What does Miami have? Nightclubs.

From lounges to megaclubs, Miami nightlife has something for everyone. Here are our top 5 favorite places you need to hit up.

 5) LIV

The club whose name actually is the Roman numeral for 54 has been the highest grossing nightclub in Miami since its opening in 2008. Getting a table at LIV has been the go-to for the cool kids and celebs, where guests will often spend more money in one night than you make in a year.  The two-story megaclub, with upstairs Skylofts, is still going strong even after 7 years - which is an eternity in the nightlife game.

 4) Bardot

Forget Snapchatting and Instagramming from this gem.  Bardot has a parking-lot entrance, no sign, and a zero-photography policy. Trendy Moroccan lounge furniture, a pool table, and a stage make up most of the club, where they often bring in topnotch local bands, musicians, and DJs. Be prepared for a long night as their after-hours often run very late into the night (morning).

 3) E11even

Imagine a Vegas nightclub…. but with strippers. Burlesque performances, big-name DJs, and massive LED screens make for one of the most over the top dance clubs in the country. Prepare for all of your senses (and imaginations) to be blown away.

 2) Story

From the creators of LIV, Story has taken a page from Vegas and Ibiza with a large dance floor space for the true fans of electronic music. With less of an emphasis on selling tables, Story launched “Underground Story” every Saturday night where they have brought the likes of Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, and Eric Prydz into play extended late-night sets.

 1) Club  Space

Just go. Don’t read the reviews. Don’t worry who is playing. This may just be the best nightclub in the country. We’ll see you on the terrace.
