THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE DONUTS LIKE A BAWSSSSS


Donuts are one of the greatest things on the planet. Aside from water, Pinkberry, Flonuts, and pizza, nothing really can compare to the perfect donut. I mean, the options are limitless. You can pretty much put whatever you want on a donut. My mouth is salivating just thinking about these right now. Ok ok, its go time. Here’s how they are done.

  • Prep Time: 1 hour
  • Cook Time: 15 minutes
  • Total Time: 1 hour

What you will be making = 1 dozen small donuts with frosting

Ingredients for the donuts

  • 1 tablespoon softened butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1¾ cup plus 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Ingredients  for the frosting

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Time to prepare the donuts:

  1. Combine softened butter, sugar and egg yolk in a bowl
  2. Add milk
  3. Stir
  4. Add baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg
  5. Stir
  6. Add flour and mix vigorously
  7. Put dough out a floured surface and knead for 4 minutes
  8. Roll out the dough to one half inch thickness
  9. Cut circles out of the dough using the top of a mug or large cup
  10. Cut the little holes with your finger
  11. Heat vegetable oil in a pot to 365 degrees
  12. Drop donuts in one at a time for 1 minute
  13. When the top of the donut starts to get golden, flip it. Wait 30 seconds and then remove and place on a wire rack to cool

BAMMMMM!!!!

Directions for the Frosting:

  1. Combine milk and sugar for basic white glaze. Mix thoroughly
  2. Dunk the donuts into the glaze
  3. Place the donuts back on the wire rack to dr
  4. EAT THESE THINGS LIKE IT’S THE LAST MEAL YOU WILL EVER HAVE!
